Acappella (adv. or adj.): without instrumental accompaniment. It's a fitting name for our company.
Acappella Software is committed to designing and developing software technology that is used to build solutions without writing any programming code. This speeds applications development and deployment and helps resolve the IT/business divide.
Since 1996, the Acappella team has worked to understand human decision making practices and how they are applied in the enterprise. This research has led us to develop our patented Telamon™ Platform.
It is our contention that the human practice of decision making is the pillar of support for the enterprise. Each task in the enterprise has its own decision making rhythm. The outcomes of these decisions then escalate into a critical path for enterprise decision processes.
We adhere to a paradigm where the human side of business activity leads and technology follows. In this dynamic, human decision making is seen as a unique and special capability that is enhanced - not replaced by - computing power. In fact, decision making practice requires that people stay in the loop.
At the center of our vision is an understanding that data is the lifeblood of an organization. Data must be delivered and presented to people anywhere in the organization when they need it and in context of the work that they perform.
As such, Acappella Software Inc. is moving towards the concept of decision hubs, where data is at the core, processes define how that data is used, and decisions and documents are the outputs of these processes.
